How to add Scripted installs to the drop down menu after you boot to the KBE inviroment.

I am new to KACE. I have made a new scripted install for windows 10. The place I work for has a KBE already setup. wen we boot off the NIC and choose the KBE it takes me to the Dell KACE Menu then I choose scripted installs and I am taken to a drop down box. However my new install is not listed. What do I need to do to make it show up?

As a side note, don't forget that if this is PXE booting to a Remote Site appliance it will not pick it up till the file sync completes.

You need to create a new kbe for "windows 10" if you don't have one,

using the k2000 media manager.

Download the appropriate Deployment Toolkit....in your case....

"ADK for Windows 10 (WinPE10)".

Then Install and upload the new KBE to Kace.

Then your windows 10 scripted install will show up in the dropdown list.

You probably are looking at a windows 7 kbe. This will not show

any windows 10 scripted installs.

It might seem a bit daunting, but its really not.

All part of the initial setup of the kace which is done once.

Refer to the admin guide....... It has everything you need.

Does the scripted install architecture match the architecture of the KBE? A 32bit KBE will only show 32bit scripted installs, same for 64bit KBE.
