Microsoft Office has a built in configuration tool reached by typing setup.exe /admin.
From there you create an MSP file that is dropped in the updates folder and this file contains all the configuration information such as silent installation.  The necessary information is all available from Microsoft.

EdT is correct. Here is a link on IT Ninja as to how to get the .MSP file created and how to use it http://www.itninja.com/blog/view/deploying-office-2013-managed-install

It works very well and I have our Office 2013 deployed this way with the updates extracted into the updates folder also. Also if you want to activate Office 2013 also you can add a batch script to run the following:
cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OSPP.VBS" /act
