iDRAC 6 configuration troubles

Dell r610. I am having trouble configuring my DRAC 6 card, not an express card. The mode is set to "dedicated" but it shows" no active LOMs". The dedicated LOM on the card is not only present but plugged in and receiving packets.

Short of trying to reseat the card, I have no ideas.

There are a few things you can check.

* In the iDRAC settings, is it set to "enabled"?

* If you are using DHCP, try giving it a static IP

You can also try updating the iDRAC firmware.  Even if you're already at the latest version it might be worth a shot.  If you can't update it then the card probably needs to be reset.
