Images missing in K1000 Service Desk Knowledge Base

We began using the K1000 service desk a few months ago and manually transferred all of our KB articles including the images. It worked well, no problem at all - the images displayed properly right away with no intervention. I happened to look at a KB article today and now all of the images seem to be broken. In both IE and Chrome. Has anyone experienced this?

Any resolution for this problem? I'm on the same problem when I add a picture to my KB article.

  • Got response from Quest Support. This is a known bug and will be fixed on KACE SMA 11.1 which will be released in the end of May. - abahelpdesk 3 years ago

One thing I happened to notice when migrating our wiki articles to KACE kb, is that copying and pasting the content was nearly seamless. All the formatting and images came over fine with a simple copy and paste. However, I noticed that the images were actually still being hosted on the wiki. In other words,  copy and paste wasn't actually uploading the images to the SMA/the kb - it was just copy the image's link to the wiki. Concern here is when we power down the wiki server, which is the plan, all the images would be broken.

In your case though, it sounds like you were manually uploading images and copy+paste wasn't used? Do the attachments still show at the bottom of the article or are those gone as well?

Is it only happening on IE and chrome or all browsers?
