Including batch file on desktop
I'm trying to use AppDeploy Repackager to capture changes to a PC running XP SP3, and I'm having a problem with the final step.
It's a set of Oracle runtime libraries, and a whole load of batch files that do things like setting mapped drives and correct command lines, plus a desktop shortcut on the All Users desktop to that batch files.
Now, when it comes to choosing shortcuts to be installed for the listed executables, I don't actually want any extra ones created. I've got around that issue by just selecting a shortcut for a file I don't want (although clearly I'd prefer to miss that step out, but that doesn't seem to be possible), but the desktop shortcut I've created between the two capture points does not seem to be part of the final .MSI and does not get placed back in the All Users desktop.
What am I doing wrong?
