Installing prerequisites and configuring the SCCM console for my Lab
Hi guys,
I am trying to build my own lab of SCCM 2012. I have everything setup the DC, SQL server and a server for SCCM. But the issue that i am running into is installing the SCCM console. When I try to install the console, It would ask me to install the prerequisites, it errors out at that point. I have the prerequisites copied out to the local hard drive and point that location to be the prerequisites location. So i had no luck in installing the Console. Can some one let me know or any other way to get the console installed and configured.

if i can remember correctly the console attempts to connect to the web to download/verify the pre-req's even if you have them on the local machine (i know it definately does this for SCCM 2016 and is really annoying), i would check the install log and see exactly where it is failing

Hey sorry about the confusion. that is not what i am talking about. Configuring the site itself. which includes the installation of Silverlight, windows deployment kit, SQL server 2008 Express and all the bells and whistle's. - Sidhugadu 8 years ago
