Does anybody know of a way to write an inventory rule for MAC or a non Dell machine to get warranty information?

If you have access to Apple's GSX service you can setup an application that uses their API to query warranty data. That can then be stored in a text file on the machine and read into KACE via a custom inventory rule. That's how I approached this in my environment.

For other manufacturers you will have to see if they provide a programatic way to query warranty data. Microsoft's is behind a captcha, so that's a no go for Surface data.

<pet peeve>Mac is short for Macintosh, it isn't an acronym so there's no need to place it in all caps.</pet peeve>
