Is there a way to edit Machine Labels after they've been created?

Our organization has a set of PCs we use to test new patches as they come out.  However, the list of PCs we want to use for testing is dynamic, and I'd like to be able to add and remove PCs from the label as our needs change.

The current Machine Label we use was not created as a Smart Label, and I don't think a Smart Label would work for what I need.

Is this even possible?  Or is it better to just add and remove specific machines from my Detect & Deploy job rather than use a Label?

When you view a computer in the inventory click on Labels and then Edit. Alternatively, you can add and remove labels from the list of computers using the Choose Action, Add Label or Remove Label options. Just check the boxes next to the computer you want to change the labels for.

  • Thanks, Chuck. I see it now. I was trying to edit via Label Management. I didn't think about going through Inventory.
