Job setting for Veeam backup Kace SDA and SMA
When backing up the Vmware Kace SDA and SMA virtual machines with Veeam, do you recommend I enable "Vmware Tools quiescense" in the backup job settings?
Normally, to use that option I think you need to have root access so you can stop the database and web server before the job starts.

Veeam is not a supported or recommended backup tool for the KACE appliances.
You can use the onboard backup functionality which exports the backups to an external share an enables you to simply restore the appliance.
Veeam is also not a good idea as ONLY backup solution for ANY VM (yes, it is an additional one which can be good, but keep in mind, an attacker which takes your systems as ransom and encrypts them also affects the veeam backups)
