K1000 Patching Office Updates

Dear all,

New to patching and whilst I have managed to deploy many windows updates over the course of the last month or so, how can I tell if Office 2010 updates are being patched?

Kind regards in advance

Simon

  • Thank you for that. I have done that. If I am only seeing one update in that returned list, does that assume that I am not download Office patches? - si1974 8 years ago
    • Sounds like it's quite possible. Check your subscriptions and make sure you have criteria in there for your OSes and that you are getting Operating System Patches - rockhead44 8 years ago
      • Thanks for the tip, will give that a check - si1974 8 years ago
  • I think I have been daft, in subscriptions>in Application Patches I only had Adobe selected, presumably I would need Microsoft Corp ticked in order to get Office updates? - si1974 8 years ago
  • Great, thank you for your help and assistance, much appreciated - si1974 8 years ago

Under Security-Catalog search for office 2010

Change your dropdowns to Show: Individual Packages and View By: "All Patches"

Then search for Office 2010

That will show you the patches and the number that have installed.

I'm sure you could report on that as well fairly easily.
