K3000 change server hostname

Hoi,

when i try to change the server hostname( IP) address with our new DC and i save the changes i get the error: API: communication failure.

API communication failure usually occurs if you are not able to communicate with the endpoint.
If you try to set the Server Hostname of the AD DC this server needs to be avaiable over network from the K3000 (DNS, routing) to be set correctly.
If it is not avaiable (down, DNS not replicated or similar) this error will occur - Nico_K 10 years ago
The K3000 requires Certs to be valid. When you changed the hostname did you re do the Certificates from your Certificate Authority? - MacDude 10 years ago
