Kace: E-mail update by management to push Process stage 1 to stage 2
Good Morning Everyone,
I have a Process that requires managements approval which they do by responding to an e-mail that is sent to them. I noticed that when the child is closed it does not move to stage 2 processes. However, if I simple go into the ticket and hit save on the parent or even the child ticket it will kick off the stage 2 tickets that are required.
I would normally just have multiple status and move the ticket from owner to owner however we require more custom fields then what is provided which is why we need process sadly.
Does anyone have a custom rule that will kick start stage 2 tickets when stage 1 tickets are closed from an e-mail? Any suggestions or thought would be greatly appreciated.
