KACE SMA 10.0+ Patch Schedule Snooze Options
Will Administrators be given the ability to limit or remove the reboot "Snooze" options for users in Patch Schedules that was given in SMA 10.0? Our patch schedule for laptops was set to give users the ability to snooze every hour for a 24 hour period, after which they would have to reboot. With the new options in place, they could potentially extend the 24 hour period to 8 days. We could limit the reprompts to 3 which would bring it back to one day, but this would only apply to those that use the 8 hour option. This new feature and the lack of control for administrators has effectively broken our patching process.

I'm not sure that anything has changed, there is no "snooze" function in reboot anyway. So the options are to allow users to snooze or cancel patch deployment, and if the patch needs a reboot the options are to Prompt user or force reboot, with the Prompt user option available as a timeout period and a set number of timeouts. I'm not sure I understand your perspective on what has changed? - Hobbsy 4 years ago
