Lenovo Recovery Partition
I sysprepped a Lenovo ThinkStation P300 and can no longer apply the "out-of-the-box" image. When I look at the failed task, the Lenovo recovery partition has its own .wim image and that's where it hangs. Is there any way to deploy the .wim image and get past this point?
By the way, for inquiring minds that want to know why I'm reimaging a computer with the out-of-the-box image is because our managers want to make sure we have a pristine image. Don't ask me why! Thanks all!

You need to boot to WinPE (whatever version is appropriate to the operating system on your Lenovo) and then run imagex.exe from WinPE to deploy the wim file to the chosen partition. You will need to reformat the partition before deploying to it, and I would recommend copying the WIM file to a USB device as a backup in case you hose something.
