I am unable to scan the clients systems on my network, I have attached 3 clients machines , XP, windows 7,
I read the quick guide , and use Single machine provision agents install, but I want to scan my network automaticlly and then install agent on all machines, how i do this.

You can't install agents automatically based on IP scan results. If you want to blanket a subnet, you have to provision to an entire subnet.

Airwolf, this is not quite correct. If you choose Advanced Provisioning and then choose the Manual Provisioning by IP radio button at the top of the screen, you can paste in specific IP addresses, or use the Help Me Pick Machines to do discontiguous ranges of IP addresses, select some or all of the IP's from IP Scan results, or some or all of the IP's from Inventory.

Ismael, for what you want, I think doing a normal Advanced Provisioning and choosing a range of IP's and subnets will do what you want.

I stand corrected. I must've missed that "Help me pick machines" option. Was that added in 5.1?

Nope, actually we added that back when we added the agent provisioning dashboard, so more like v4.3 or so. It's a subtle feature. [:)]
