No version file found. Check K1000 file share!

I'm brand new at the KACE K1000 Box. I am trying to install the client file on a Windows and Mac computer, and get the following message in the K1000 Agent, Single Agent Provisioning screen:  No version file found. Check K1000 file share!

I know there should be client files in a share folder, but when I browse to the share, it's empty. What are the steps to generate the client files and add them to the share?

It's also possible that there is no client uploaded on your K1000.

Check here: Settings>K1000 Agent>Agent updates from KACE>Loaded K1000 Agent Updates

It should show what versions you have for Windows, Mac and Linux.

If there is nothing there, download an agent bin file here: http://www.kace.com/support/customer/downloads

Please ensure your samba share is enabled on the general settings page here:

Are you browsing to \\kbox\client\agent_provisioning\  then the OS?

Note that by default, the client drop share does not have a password, but you can set one on the Control Panel > Security Settings page
