Offline KScript will not stop running even after it has been disabled
I created an OFFLINE KScript to run a DOS command and it will not stop running even after it has been disabled and command removed on the KBOX.
I looked in C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE\scripts and this folder is empty.
Does anyone know how to stop an OFFLINE KScript that has been disabled and keeps running anyways?

Will that have any negative impact? just asking as I have never done that. - rockhead44 9 years ago

it will put the needed xml's files back into the cache. Had same thing happen a couple of years ago of machines with Deepfreeze and the offline was a shutdown restart so that was really messy. - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago

Thanks. That sounds like an ugly situation! - rockhead44 9 years ago

the machines were rebooting so fast all we had time to do is ctrl -a delete to get the file - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago

if you want to get precise. Hover over the offline script and get the ID from it and delete the xml file that begins with that ID. - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago

Settings › Control Panel › Communication Settings > Scripting Update
I saw something similar recently (used the K1000 power settings to setup an offline power setting script) and the script ran even with the agent uninstalled from the machine. Had to reinstall the Agent and allow it to update after I disabled the script. - tshupp 9 years ago
