On how many computers I can install/upgrade OS simultaneously using KACE 2000?

Good Day,

need to ask on how many computers I can install/upgrade OS simultaneously using KACE 2000? Does it affect network speed. I have read " KACE doesn’t support multicasting but it can definitely do multiples at the same time, The only difference is that they will not all start and finish at the same time. "

Thanks

The samba share will limit your max usage, I have had 30+ machines using the normal deployment, when I switched to wims and stored them externally I have had up to 120 machines imaging at the same time

  • since upgrading our K2000 box to 4.0 (now 4.1) are struggle to up 5 computers at the same time, we are using the recommend requirements from the Quest documentation. Have you all beefed up your servers and if so to what? - chris.poston 7 years ago

I believe the max recommended is around 20.
