Raid 0 drive failed K2000

Our Raid 0 drive recently failed.  We were told by Dell to order a new drive replace it in the appliance and it should rebuild.

It has been 5 hours and we still can't log in or contact the K2000.

Is there something we should have done after inserting the drive?  I am trying to find documentation on this but can't find any.

Need to get this fixed because we are dead in the water with imaging until this is fixed.

  • That's the problem we don't have a current backup. I don't understand why if this is just a drive fail this is not rebuilding. Was there something we should have done besides just put the hot swappable drive in? - scarpent 9 years ago
  • Is there anyway to see what the K2000 is doing? I don't have a current backup the drive failed with no warning right in the middle of uploading our image changes. - scarpent 9 years ago
    • since the system is not avaiable, you may have a bigger issue than just a failed hard drive. So the best way would be, contact the support.
A failed hard drive usually won't cause the system to be offline.
Can you ping it or get the console? - Nico_K 9 years ago
