Run K1000 script with interval (not working)
Hello everyone,
I have made some scripts on my K1000 box and they work perfectly when I choose to run them now on System X or on group Label Y.
Now, i have a few systems that occasionally come online and they still need to get the scripts I made.
The problem is that when they are online I am not and so they always miss the scripts and I want a solution for it.
All my system need to report every hour so that I am always up-to-date with the information.
I also found that if you enter in the parameters of the script to run every hour and the system itself checks in the script should run if it is applied to that computer of label the computer belongs.
I tried it on my laptop itself but it doesn't seem to work. My laptop is in the label, that label is connected to the script and the script itself needs to run every hour.
Because my system check in every hour it should be executed and I should need to see some results within 2 hours or am I wrong?
Also, is it needed to choose, "Run Now" when the script is on a schedule? Because that could also be a problem now (this was not handled trough the jump start session).

Please some help with this.

The script was already enabled because I used it with the "Run Now" button.
As I can see from your picture, the only thing that is different is that you use a custom time frame.
I tried it now with 10 minutes (10 * * * * ) and saved the script, do I need to choose "run now" or will this be enough for now? An inventory update is requested for the system so at this moment I am waiting...

the run now button has nothing to do with enabling it for a schedule. Think of that as an override from the schedule. Is the Enabled check box checked at the very top of the script? - SMal.tmcc 8 years ago
