Status: version-check
Hello, our SMA has high CPU usage. I can't figure out whats taking up the CPU. Under task scheduler, we dont have a lot of tasks running at the same time except with some replication shares. I turned off all replication shares then the CPU pegged at 100%. Before I disabled the Rep shares, a few detect jobs were stuck as "pending". After I stopped the rep share, they jobs kicked off but the jobs are stuck at: Status: version-check. What does Status: version-check mean and is there another way to easily see what is consuming all the CPU?

Go to Settings | Support | Run Diagnostic Utilities.
With TOP you can see which processes are using high resource levels
With SMA/munin you can see the overall performance graphs.
Is this a VM or a physical machine?
How many agents do you use? How many CPU/RAM does the system has?
Which version of the SMA do you use?
More info can be found here: https://support.quest.com/kb/234057/
