Trigger K1000 report to email - Software Catalog - Expiring LicenseS

Hi guys, is it able to somehow setup K1000 to send report "Software Catalog - Expiring LicenseS" to email when certain software license reaches let say 7 days before expiring?

I know that this report show all the expiring licenses in the next 60 days but how to make "trigger" to send it to email when that condition (60 days) is met? I can schedule to run every day or week but I'm looking for some sort of "trigger" to do that... Is that even possible?

  • You should be able to set this up as a notification under Assets. Query Expiration Date is within next 60 days, adjust expression items as appropriate. - grayematter 10 years ago
  • Under "All Assets" I only have given: Cost Center, Department, Location, Name, Unique ID, User and Vendor"... How should I make this query when don't have criteria to work with?? - dlistar 10 years ago
    • You should View by: Asset Type -> License. Then create the notification. - grayematter 10 years ago
      • Why didn't you just say so man :) nice, thank you :)
Can you make that as an answer in this thread so I can put "answered"? - dlistar 10 years ago
  • We do this now as a scheduled report that goes out every Monday. You could also do this via a custom service desk rule but that is probably overkill. - Jbr32 10 years ago
    • Tnx :) u're probably right. - dlistar 10 years ago

You should be able to set this up as a notification under Assets.  Select View by: Asset Type -> License.  Query Expiration Date is within next 60 days, adjust expression items as appropriate.
