uninstalled software still showing in discoverde software
I have asset reports that charge departments for software installed.
One software has been uninstalled on a machine but it is still showing
up in "Discovered software". And this is charging the owner for software
he specifically said should be uninstalled.
I have cleaned the registry too. Cant find any remnants of the program anywhere.
I checked......... program-files, program-files-x86, program-data, users-apps data....... nothing.

Found the rogue Exe files on the user's PC. Was hidden in some backup files. seem "Discovered software" lists all executables on your machine, even if they were never installed. Unlike installed software, which is actually Exe's that have been installed.
