Using KBE Manipulator on x64 KBE

Hello,

Recently I have moved to deploying x64 WIndows 7 images exclusively for my organization.  We have been using the Dell CCTK to configure the BIOS settings of our machine during the deployment process.  When we switch to x64 I noticed that the KBE Manipulator is not including the CCTK in the KBE as it does with the x86 version.  Am I missing something?  Any chance we can get this fixed?  I have a lot of machine to deploy this summer and I would like to be able to get the bios settings configured this way rather than by hand

Are you creating your KBE modified environment on a 64bit machine?  The manipulator looks the CCTK to be installed in a certain directory and if it sees it there the option becomes availble to add to the environment.

  • I am adding it on a 64-bit machine. The option is available on the KBE Manipulator but it does not install it when you watch the build script running. I do build the x86 KBE's on this same machine and it does include the CCTK. - jgengler 12 years ago
