What 3rd party reporting tools are people using to get charts, graphs etc. out of Kace SMA
Leadership is putting on me to find a good robust reporting tool to get data out of Kace SMA. They don't want this to be something that takes hours to create or run manually when they need it. We don't have the option of using Power BI so I am looking at what others are using and doing to get these types of reports.
If possible I would like something leadership could run the report without having access to Kace SMA or I can publish to our portal that they could see somewhat live real time data.
They have even looked into purchasing Team Dynamics to pull data out of Kace SMA and have asked me to see if that is possible. I would prefer not to spend large dollar amounts to do this with budgeting partially to the climate this last year.

you can use all you want. PowerBI is widely used.
You can even build your own web page for collecting the data from the SMA or SDA (or both at the same time) to build your own dashboard.
Could you share a dashboard in powerbi?
I have connected it with a VK1000 database and have load a few tables.
But i'm completely lost.
Since we made our own DASHBoard product end of life we have concentrated on PowerBI. I know you say that is not an option, perhaps you can share the reasons behind that.
We have done sufficient work on PowerBI with KACE that we are confident we can produce dashboards for Techs and IT Leadership, so happy to have a chat if yo would like to reach out?
