What is FAIL (84) on a patching deployment on the K1000?
Google search doesn't find anything but I have a number of patches failing with FAIL (84). Also getting FAIL (99) on another patch.
I'm running 5.5.90545

FAIL (99) is Unknown Download Failure FAIL (84) is Deploy Failed - Package file not found The full list of patching error codes: http://www.kace.com/de/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=SOL111687&action=artikel&cat=6&id=906&artlang=en - See more at: http://www.itninja.com/question/what-is-fail-84-on-a-patching-deployment-on-the-k1000#answer-88101
The full list of error codes (a bit outdated maybe) can be found here:

I suggest to do the following: enable debug of the agent (net stop ampagent, add debug=detail in the c:\programfiles\dell\kace\amp.conf file, net start agent), delete all .log files in that folder and run a new detect and deploy job. Then review the kdeploy.log what happened. If you need help with that contact support with that log.

Was there ever a resolution to this? I am having the same problem with 3 patches now. - areiner 11 years ago

There is a hot fix for a few patches which are causing issues. Call/email support and give them the patch KB numbers that are giving you issues. If they are the ones I was having issues with they will re-download the patches after you apply the hotfix. - petelanglois 11 years ago
