What would make a patch deployment intended for one machine to go to 104?
I have an update schedule that was only to be a test. I had only one machine selected. I did have labels selected. Would the devices listed have been over-ridden by the labels? It showed 1 machine, but at the bottom it said "total machines affected 104".

Without seeing the deployment task i can't be certain but what it sounds like happened was that either you may have forgotten to save the limits to the deployment before running it. Or the labels were still there when you ran it. I always check at the bottom where it says the number of items it will affect. I hope it didn't cause you any issues. Always go by the number at the bottom stating how many will be affected.
