When Create a parent and child ticket using a process why does it not link the child to the parent
Hi
I, like a few others here, am trying to streamline the new employee process by creating a Parent and several child tickets which go to different groups (sign on to different systems)
When the process completes (i.e. the tickets are created ) I would have thought that the child tickets would be referenced in the parent ticket (i.e. so once I go to the parent I can get to the child tickets via the reference)
I then will look at the check box idea so that only child tickets with a matching check box get created (I think the idea was that ones that don't have a check box get deleted which has the same ultimate outcome)
any help would be appreciated.

I'm not entirely sure if you are looking in the correct places. Here are some screenshots from a process created with child tickets.
Here is the view of the child tickets from within the Parent ticket
Here is the view of the ticket process from within the child ticket
All appear to show the links, and this is a version 9.0 KACE SMA
thanks for that answer Hobbsy. However when I go to the parent under the process information there is no heading called Process Activities (all the others are there). Is there a tick box or option I have to turn on to get that to show up

No this is all default functionality, I would log a ticket for support or plan to upgrade to the latest 9.1.x and see if it is resolved - Hobbsy 5 years ago
