K1000: Why can't I deploy to my systems anymore?

Hi everyone.  I have been going around with Kace support and I'm not getting anywhere, so I thought I'd come here.

We have a K1000 that we use solely for server management and patching.  Long story short, I’m on the latest appliance software with the latest agents on the clients.  All the clients can check in and work fine.  Out of nowhere, better than half of my systems no longer do a Detect and Deploy properly.  When the schedule starts, they go from Scheduled  >  Handshake  >  Completed.  I never get a Detect, Deploy, or Verify.  It doesn’t even attempt to contact the system it seems.

All of this started the evening of Monday the 18th of November.  That night, patching worked and Tuesday morning, it didn’t.  That night, we also noticed that our filesystem usage spiked.  I downloaded the hotfix and rebooted and the space issue was fixed.

I did find out that there was an issue with a deployment package from Kace.  So, I deleted all my patches and did a full download of all subscribed patches.  The issue remains.

If anyone could offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it!

We had a similar issue after updating to 5.5 and we were able to resolve it by deleting and then re-downloading the patch repository.

Settings -> Control Panel -> Patch Settings

Click on 'Delete All' and then re-download by clicking on 'Download Now'.
