Why does a workstation not show up in Inventory?

This is our one workstation that is a Windows 8.1 Operating System.  Does K1000 work with Windows 8.1?

K1000 5.5.90545 is recognizing Windows 8.1.
Do you have enough licenses?

Are the needed ports (esp. 55230) open?
is the agent started?
Does it have the correct servername in the C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE\amp.conf?
