Windows DLL error
I created a ghost image of a windows 2003 32 bit server and tried to restore it to the same model\type. I received the following error message.
The Logon User interface DLL C:\windows\system32\msgina.dll failed to load or restart the original DLL. Restart.
I proceeded trying to repair from windows 2003 operating system with the CD inserted, was not able to find the disk driver. Entered in F6 and insert the perc 6i driver which is on the floppy diskett. Now I am getting the following message.
"Type EXIT to quit the recovery console and restart the computer.
1. C:\Windows
which windows installation would you like to fog onto
(to cancer, Press Enter)?"

It sounds as if you have selected the recovery console option for Windows Server 2003 at boot. That recovery option is a command line utility for performing a different recovery than what you need.
What you should do is boot to the CD again, and then time choose to perform an installation of Windows. Supply the driver for the PERC6i, and then when the installation finds the copy of Windows that already exists, at that point you will get a prompt for repair -that is when you select repair.
Hope that helps a bit.
On a side note, imaging Server 2003 with Ghost is a real pain.
