Word and Excel Hyperlinks to Kace Tickets dont work with 9.x
Hi Folks,
we updated Kace 1000 from 8 to 9 last week and everything seemed to work fine... until I first used my Excel Tool KACETOOL I am working with since about 6 month.
In this tool there are Hyperlinks pointing to Kace Tickets like http://kace1000.xxx.local/userui/ticket?ID=8094 . Since update they all fail the target without message and kace shows the landing page. Examine this strange behavior, I found out the following fakts:
- Hyperlinks from Outlook, OneNote work correctly, also Desktop- Links do
- Hyperlinks from Word or Excel dont work
I have Win 10 and tried with IE, Chrome, Edge and Firefox using 365 and 2010 on several machine in the Office.
to recreate the test, you can do the following: New word document, type in a link like above, fire it.
I very much hope for an answer before I go crasy :)
