  • I would recommend making a copy of the installation files and moving them into a windows share that you control the permissions of. Then use the tool to create a distribution based on this new file location. - jkinwv17 5 years ago

  • We have put the MSI into a windows share and updates GPO with the GPO provisioning Tool so im wondering how long it will take to see the new agent installed after inventory? - ASEatmon 5 years ago
  • is running the provision tool and create the GPO will install the latest agent over the existing ones? or do i have to run a uninstall first? - psaussey 5 years ago
  • What ended up working for me was enabling the SMA Device to update the agent Because i was confused in thinking the GPO would override the old agent but KACE Support says that the GPO will only install the agent for the first time and not update it. - ASEatmon 5 years ago

most likely the MS update that occurred earlier this year that stops you form connecting as guest to a samba share.  To see if that is the problem on a machine that will not provision click on start and do a \\kbox.your.url and see if a window opens or an error occurs.
