any scripts to auto fix KACE agents via GPO ?

  • If the agent loses its way from the K1000, you can run:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE\Amptool.exe" HOST=(K1000 HOSTNAME)
    This points the agent back to the K1000.

    Afterwards, to force the agent to check in, run:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\KACE\runkbot.exe" 4 0

  • The only way that you can really "fix" KACE agents on a mass scale is to reinstall.

  • I agree with Desktop Jockey. We use GPO to remove and install agents, this fixes most of the issues in 2 minutes - Channeler 7 years ago
