Changed battery on my Dell Optiplex GX620 Version A11 it boots but I can't get into Windows

Trying to get past black screen with the f1 and f2 display. Changed the battery

It sounds like your system might be having issues with BIOS settings after the battery replacement. Follow these steps:

  1. Reset BIOS Settings: Disconnect the power, remove the battery again, and hold the power button for 30 seconds to clear any residual power. Reinsert the battery and boot into the BIOS (press F2 during startup). Check the date and time, and ensure the boot sequence is correct.

  2. Check Boot Order: If Windows doesn’t load, make sure your hard drive is listed as the primary boot device.

  3. Reinstall Windows (if necessary): If the issue persists, you may need to repair or reinstall Windows using a bootable USB drive.

remove the battery at first.
It may be a problem with the new battery.
review the BIOS settings.

Do you see any error messages?

If you really need help, you should contact the vendor.

Following on from Hico_K's advice, check the date and time in the BIOS as removing the battery will lose the current settings.
