Deployment of a package from a command line

How would I go about initiating the deployment of a package that is defined in SMS by using the commandline instead of the usual method of creating an advertisement? I want to be able to push the install to a workstation from the server.

one thing you can do is browse to the package share on the site server and get your msi from there, but it should be the same that you get from your source directory when you setup the initial package. you can then call that from the command line or use psexec (freeware) which has proven to be very successful for me in the past

Are you on SMS 2003 SP2 or later? If so, I *think* you can use OSD even to deploy a single package - if you aren't able to find the synax via Google or anything I'll try and find some old scripts that did this, it's been a while so I'm fuzzy.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
