Does the K2000 (v. 3.5.80613) support scripted installs to PC's using UEFI?
We are starting to deploy Windows 7 x64 and windows 8 x64 so I have upgraded the K2000 to version 3.5.80613, downloaded the new Media manager and AIK, created new KBE's etc. We purchased new Dell Optiplex 9020 PC's with Win 7 Pro x64 and they boot using UEFI (I know they work). I have tried every ay available to get a scripted install to work with the new PC's but keep running into errors.
The latest one is "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition type."
The pre-install task of Create UEFI Partitions has been used and the answer file manipulated but I can't get any further.
Is this supported by the K2000?

Yes, this will work if you create a KBE USB key.

How are you booting to the KBE? I believe you can only use a UEFI usb stick to boot to UEFI.

Created new KBE's on the k2000 using the network drivers for the Optiplex 9020. It boots to the menu and from there I select scripted install for win. - rjobe 11 years ago

Right, but what I'm saying is I don't think you can do that. PXE doesn't support UEFI currently, so you'll need to create a usb key and use that to boot using UEFI. - nheyne 11 years ago
