Drivers for Windows 7 x64 on a Lenovo M700
I have searched and read and played with this for over 2 weeks now. I need to add drivers to the kbox 2000 to allow a Lenovo M700 to both capture up and deploy down images. Apparently it is a common issue with skylake machines running the Intel 100 series chipsets. I have built my machine with Windows 7 64bit, I have run driver harvest to upload the found drivers, I have downloaded and manually added and recached the needed drivers, but it simply will not see the kbox to upload or download images. I am running kbox version 3.4 (yes I know it is old.....long story).
This site lists how to correct it with bootable media, but I have no idea how to change the boot image on the kbox to add these drivers. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkCentre-A-E-M-S-Series/M700-boot-image-keyboard-mouse-failure/td-p/3344273
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love this kbox and I'd hate to have to find something else to image that is less intuitive.

I am still pretty new my self and we use the m700 with windows 7 64 bit. I apologize if my lingo is not spot on.
I ended up having to update to the windows 10 kbe for my winpe, this had the correct network and storage drivers all ready. Nothing I got from Lenovo helped me boot into the box. use the latest and greatest you can.
I also had to make some changes in the bios/ uefi.
Under Exit>change OS Optimized Defaults to Disable and run Load Optimal Defaults.
and then Go to the “Startup” tab and change the boot priortiy to UEFI first.
Hope this helps.

Trying to build a windows 10 image now. Dell has made it particularly difficult to download required utilities to make my appliance work with an expired support contract :) I believe you are completely correct however. - dazormiq 7 years ago
