DWG TrueView 2007
Hi Guys,
I can not get DWG TrueView 2007 to install with Zenworks as a normal user. It wants admin rights. I have downloaded the latest ver. but I still have this problem when I try to install it with an .MST File.
Has anyone found a work around for this problem?
I have seen in the forum that this problem was only in past versions but I am using the latest one.
I have tried to repackage with a few tools but I had no luck on making it work.
I need to find some way to deploy this with Zenworks because my client has over a 100 users that need it.
Thanks,
Eric

If memory serves, the MSI has a LaunchCondition value that ensures the user is a effectively a member of the local admin group, remove this LaunchCondition then just ensure people assigned the package have r/w rights to:
HKLM\Software\Autodesk\DWG TrueView
c:\Program Files\Autodesk\DWG TrueView
c:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared

I had one more problem with DWG TrueView 2007 vendor application. I installed the MSI as an Admin and it works fine and then i logged in as a user it fails to launch because there are some files that are going into my user profile folders...if i copy them to allusers location then it works fine even if i logged in as a user. Someone please respond...........
As per the above problem i think it shouldn't be a problem...i already created an MST using Wise Package Studio 7.0 and t works fine. May be u need some rights..check it.
