Ghost image from FTP or over the internet

Is there a way to dial in to a computer remotely and tell the computer to pull a ghost image from a FTP server?

The idea is I’m trying to avoid having to physically visit the location with the computer problem.

I was thinking of adding a secondary hard drive to all computers and put the image there. However, this will be very expensive.

Any idea, on how to avoid physically visiting a location.

Thanks

Joe

I have just realized of another solution.

Copy the image on a CD and leave it in the CDROM & dial in remotely and say boot from the CD and run the image.

(The users don’t have access to the CDROM)

Does this make sense?

Thanks

Why not use a second partition. You can lock the partition out from being accessed in Windows via group policy or just unmap it in the drive manager.
