Handling application dependencies with SMS.
What is the best way to have an MSI call one or more dependencies to install applications using AdminStudio? We currently use a master object with several dependencies in ZenWorks and we are moving to SMS. SMS doesn't handle dependencies that great. It was fairly straightforward with WiseScript, but I'm not sure with AdminStudio.

Are you repackaging? If so you can create an installshield .exe with re-distributables included in it. You can make your own redistributables very easy and include them in your setup.exe.
This is NOT the way I would do it however, SMS chaining works flawlessly just create multiple programs and chain the dependancies and avertise to the top level product which will then start the chain from the bottom program.
