How do I setup Kace to create a ticket from an email?

I want Kace to create a ticket in Service Desk from an email. It works if I email from my exchange account but not if I email from my Gmail account. The Kace settings to allow email from an unknown user is checked. What else do I need to do to allow this?

  • It sounds like it might be a routing issue from your exchange box. You might want to check the rules out to see if it isn't allowed to get to the kbox from an external email address.

    All the inbound functions are handled from your exchange side when setting up the KBOX for email settings. Within the KBOX you are just doing what you did, set up the accept email from unknown users and the email and alt email address fields. - nshah 11 years ago
