How to create an email notification to the end user when a PC hasn't checked in for a set amount of days.
Is it possible to have Kace send an email alert to the "Assigned To:" user that is listed in the device inventory field of the K1000 when their device's "Last Inventory:" is greater than x amount of days? Our goal is to send an email alert to each end user working remotely that hasn't connected to VPN at least once a week to receive patches, etc...

Thank you for the response prince0052. How exactly do you create a notification email to send to non-compliant devices? What are the steps in Kace to configure this process? - rsickmen 4 years ago
Maybe the best way to tackle this would be to create a ticket rule that identifies when a device has not updated inventory and then sends an email to the assigned user. Using notifications does not allow you to put in A variable i.e. the enduser, the email address is fixed for the notification.
You can use the fields MACHINE.LAST_INVENTORY to work out when the device has not checked in but as there is no USER.ID assigned in the MACHINE table you will have to risk joining the USER table on USER.FULNNAME and MACHINE.USER_FULLNAME to get the email value of USER.EMAIL
You would need to send the email out from the ticket rule.
