Imaging Query
Hi Guys,
I have certain doubt regarding the creating of a image on a machine where a fresh windows installation has been done.
Now when is the image supposed to be taken i.e.
(1) after installation of the OS and installing all necessary drivers
(2) installing OS and immediately taking an image before driver installation.
My queston is that would it be better if i use the first option or second one, considering the fact that i m working with a lot of machines from different manufacturers namely Dell, HP, Compaq...
Regards

Sorry, I know this is way late, but what you need to do for a multi-platform image is to install Windows, install the drivers for the host machine, and then install the rest of the drivers that each platform will require. See my other post for an article on one way to accompish this. Should be second or third in this forum.
