In the K1000 Help Desk, I can't select KB article from lookup drop down

I can see the KB articles in the drop down but when I try to choose one, I get back to Select article to append...

We are on Server version 5.4.76848 and Agent bundle 5.4.10622

Contact KACE support and they can give you a patch to fix that issue.  I had the same problem.
