Invalid Serial after completed sysprep
i have created a new image from scratch for the dell d610 laptop, and used exactly the same procedure as all the other images i have created.
When the sysprep process has completed and i restart the laptop for it to run through the setup process (via a mini-setup sysprep.inf file), it will stop on the windows serial number screen and prompt that the serial is invalid.
I tried 2 vlk's and i have never seen this problem on any other image, it will only accept the oem key for the laptop (which results in 30 days of activation time).
The only thing i can think of is that running windows update has invalidated the key in some way.
Anyone had something similar happen?
Cheers
