K1000: Change variable (Symbol?) in automated E-Mails
Hi Ninjas
Just a small Problem but we get laughed at by our clients if they receive automated E-Mails for changes.
the variable (called Symbol in the German Kace) $change_desc
is not grammatically correct. It says:
----- Ändern bis "aazimm" auf 04.02.2014 13:33:08 -----
Which is a word to word translation of the English sentence but doesn't make any sense in German. What it means is that it had changed something TO ("bis" but that means to a date or time) ON ("auf" what means on top of something or to something). And "Ändern" is not in the past sentence.
It should say
----- Geändert von "aazimm" am 04.02.2014 13:33:08 -----
Any Idea how to change this?
(also on a site note; Single Sign On is translated to "Einmalige Anmeldung" what means "One Time Login" just to show how bad it is actually translated. But that's no problem as long only the IT staff sees it. But it is bad when the client sees it.)
I'm looking forward for your answers & comments :) Thanks!

Honestly I would submit these to support as bugs. They should correct the localization.

Hi chucksteel
Where could I report such a bug? Do I need to create a Ticket with them or is there a bug tracking tool?
Thanks - aazimm 10 years ago-
You submit a ticket. If you do it through the appliance there's an option for Bug Report under Ticket Type. - chucksteel 10 years ago

Thanks! I almost looked for a "Käfer-Bericht" (word-to-word translation of Bug Report :)) But there was a Error Report field and I guess that's the one. Thanks a lot! - aazimm 10 years ago
