Kagentlogonscript

Hello, i have been trying to get a logon script to run on a mac, i have this setup as a ofline kscript pointing to the dependency script file. This has worked but intermittently has stopped working. i can see in the kagentscript.log it states Warning: AMPAgent is not running .... exiting.
But i can see AMPAgent is running, so could it be that the kagentlogonscript can not run until the AMPAgent is running?
If so is there a timeout for the kagentlogonscript to ensure the AMPAgent is running before it tries?
This is using Agent 6.4, thanks

  • I too an interested in this question. Were you able to figure anything out? - JasonEgg 7 years ago
  • Hello, i got this working by upgrading both the Agent and the Appliance to the latest version. However the recent Apple Security Update and 10.12.5 combo update has stopped that. So now i have written my own launchDaemon that watches a some files and if they are touched then it runs the Kagentlogonscript. So far i have found this way more relieable that using the loginHook.
Hope that helps - markc0 7 years ago
