Latitude 5480 Deployment
Hi,
Totally new to the KACE system so bare with me :-)
We have just got new Latitude 5480's. The drivers are in and installed in the driver feed. DELL did say to the person that previously dealt with KACE here that the KBE (dell-winpe10-a01) should be good till the end of this year.
But as I'm trying the build I'm getting-
"ERROR: Unable to determine server IP address. Check DHCP options and network drivers"
Now I assume this means we don't have the correct KBE drivers? Correct me if I'm wrong as I ma new to this.
Thanks in advance
Ryan

It may well be that you do not have the correct drivers to connect to the KBE, so you will probably need to add them to your driver share, recache and rebuild your KBE to include them - Hobbsy 7 years ago

this simply means, that you need to build a new KBE with the drivers for the 5480.
To verify boot from the KBE and when the error message occurs, <CTRL>-<C> to break and enter "ipconfig" You should see no IP address, so no driver for the NIC found.
Follow this KB article but don't use the xx50 drivers but the right ones from the xx80s:
