Latitude 5520 won't get an IP Address in PXE
We currently have 3 different model Dell Latitude laptops: 5500, 5510 and 5520. The 5500 and 5510 will boot and image just fine from our SDA, but the 5520 won't. I searched in the Driver Feed and downloaded the Latitude Latitude 5520 Windows 10 (x64) as it was the only Latitude 5520 showing for Windows 10. When I try to PXE boot this system I can select my KBE but the system won't get an IP address from the applicance (I'm assuming it can't load the NIC driver) and therefore can't find the server. Looking in Windows, the driver file is actually the same as the 5510 and it images just fine. Looking in the SMB share I see the driver file is located in \\SDAname\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\dell-winpe10-a10\network\55d35_a00-00. Have I gotten the wrong drivers or am I missing something?
Thanks

you need to build a new KBE with the correct NIC driver, as you alreadyx assumed:

well, driver issue. The Dockingstation has the same phy nic but the PC itself needs the correct driver. - Nico_K 3 years ago
